This is the necklace I made for my friend Christine's birthday.
I recently bought jewelry-making items, and have been enjoying them immensely. For this, I just wanted something simple and classy, but I have been trying out some more funky ideas. And using lots of seashells and bits of coral from the beach...
This pendant was a single earring that my roommate found when cleaning up our campsite at the Wild Goose Festival. She brought it home, thinking it might be mine. It was originally more silver, with just a wee patch of blackened stuff. I took black nail polish to it, putting on the polish, and then wiping it with a wad of toilet paper, to try and get that antiquey sort of look. If you want to commission me to make jewelry....well....you should. (:
